Hocks and Minds.

An ham hock.Tonight, ham hocks were served in the DFAC (Dining Facility), which I found sort of hilarious for a couple of reasons:

  • Ham hocks are inherently funny. They look funny. The word is funny.
  • Ham hocks are meat from the foot of a pig, which is probably the most unclean foodstuff imaginable to a muslim.

I wonder if the muslims who work in the DFAC took the night off.

    i conclude that ham hocks do not draw as much interest as bombs. i bet the afghani (or whatever you call a person from afghanistan) folks who work in the DFAC were just laughing that silly americans don’t know any better than to eat nasty stuff.

    this reminds me of the How Its Made episode I watched with the boys where they make ham. Disgusting. And definitely not as interesting as making steel drums.

    i just found this blog, by the way, why did i not know of this before? Lame. But i’m excited now.
